Abigail Westerlind

Abigail, who goes by Abby, is a lifelong Massachusetts resident and Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state. She graduated from Stonehill College with a double major in psychology and criminology and went on to receive her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bay Path University. 

Abby has extensive training in a variety of evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches, but takes an eclectic approach with everyone she works with. She primarily works with adults, but also enjoys working with adolescents. Her areas of focus with clients usually include: anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, and self-esteem. Abby believes each person is the expert of their own life and ensures a strong therapeutic relationship through the use of humor, compassionate feedback, and meeting each person where they are at. 

Outside of counseling, Abby enjoys taking care of her houseplants, spending time outside no matter the weather, and hanging out with her cats, Ms. Bean and Wade.
